ISP Outage During Critical Work - Rant Time

Just need to vent...

Comcast outage during my most important client presentation. 4 hours without internet.

- Client thinks I'm unprepared
- Can't access cloud documents
- Hotspot data capped
- Support says "2 more hours"

$250/month for this "business class" service. I'm switching to fiber the second it's available.

Anyone else dealing with terrible ISPs?
 
Feel you! Spectrum went down during a remote server migration last week. Had to drive to a coffee shop with my whole setup.

Pro tip: Get a dual-WAN router. I have Comcast + T-Mobile 5G home internet as backup. Saved me multiple times.
